I have the honour to confirm my

telegram of the 15th. instant, an en clair version of

which is enclosed, reporting the death of Police Constable

Aaron Willians.

2.

The deceased was on duty on the

evening of the 12th. instant at a theatrical performance at

the City Hall and accidentally fell from the verandah on

the first floor into the street below, fracturing his skull.

The Jury at the Coroner's enquiry returned a verdict of

death by misadventure.

3.

Constable Williams was recruited

locally on the 2nd. September, 1902, from the Welsh

Fusiliers Regiment.
